BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Our popular play -- AMON! The Ultimate Texan – is coming back this month.

The award-winning play about Amon “Mr. Fort Worth” Carter returns to its birth theater at Artisan Center Theater in Hurst, Texas.

Almost every single day someone asks the cast and crew “When is AMON! coming back?”

We can finally say:

Opening: Aug 27, Saturday 3 pm and 7:30 pm

Sept 3, Saturday, 3 pm and 7:30 pm

Sept 10, Saturday, 3 pm and 7;30 pm

Tickets are on sale at AmonPlay.com

The beloved Kelvin Dilks returns as Amon in the play by Dallas Morning News Watchdog columnist Dave Lieber.

The play, as was the original, is produced by Rick Blair and directed by Connie Sanchez.

In its initial run AMON! ran 36 times in six Texas cities, going as far west as Abilene.

Carter ran Fort Worth for 50 years. He owned the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and created WBAP-AM and Channel 5.

This is the 100th anniversary year of WBAP. What a great way to celebrate.

Artisan Center Theater is at 444 East Pipeline Road, Hurst, TX. 76053
